Innovations in performance testing for home laundry appliances: Swissatest presents new test materials on international stage
As part of the last IEC SC59D meeting in Buenos Aires from October 14 to 18, 2024, Swissatest was able to give presentations on the test materials for the new IEC standard 60456 Ed.6 as part of a workshop.
Caroline Amberg, responsible for microbiology and standards at Swissatest, gave a comprehensive overview of all the new test materials used, focusing on the latest products and changes. Günter Burtscher then used the coldwater stain strip to explain how this test material has been included into the standard.
