Starting signal for stage 2: Partial automation in confection driven forward
Following the successful completion of partial automation stage 1 in confection in 2021, the management gave its approval for partial automation stage 2 on December 19, 2024. The project, which is due to be completed by the end of 2025 at the latest, will enable significantly higher output while further improving quality - by automating the overlock seams, which were previously carried out manually. Specially developed machines will take over this work step and ensure a more precise finish: the seams will be perfectly straight and even, minimizing sources of error, increasing production speed and relieving the team of time-consuming work tasks. A step towards even greater readiness to deliver.
The entire company, and in particular the employees in the confection department (see picture), are delighted with the approval given by the Board of Directors at its last meeting and are motivated to realize this project together.
